Recently, our group published a paper entitled "Fractal Superconducting Nanowires Detect Infrared Single Photons with 84% System Detection Efficiency, 1.02 Polarization Sensitivity, and 20.8 ps Timing Resolution" in ACS Photonics. In this work, we experimentally demonstrated arced fractal SNSPDs with system detection efficiency of 84% and a residual polarization sensitivity of 1.02 at 1575-nm telecom band, which almost completely eliminate the dependence of the system detection efficiency on the polarization states of the incident light.
